When adding or editing a user, you can define their company-level permissions. These settings control what actions they can take across the whole account.
- Create, edit, and archive projects
- Grants the ability to create new projects, update project details and settings, and archive projects.
- View projects
- Everyone’s: The user can see all projects in the company account.
- Own and shared: The user can only see projects they own or that are shared with them.
- Edit estimates and target budgets
- Allows changes to initial project estimates and target budgets.
- Tip: Disable this to keep estimates fixed for accurate financial comparison throughout the project.
- Accounts payable manager access
- Controls what invoices the user can access in the company inbox:
- Own: Invoices linked to their projects.
- Shared: Invoices shared with them.
- Company files: All invoices across the company account.
- Note: Commonly enabled for bookkeepers or anyone responsible for allocating invoices to projects.
- Controls what invoices the user can access in the company inbox:
- Access company settings and integrations
