The subcontract overview gives you a full summary of all contracts within a project.
Steps
- Open your project.
- Go to Subcontracts.
At the top, you’ll see six summary boxes:
- Contracted costs – total value of all active contracts.
- Prepayment – total value of prepayments made.
- In-payment applications – total approved amounts from payment applications (not necessarily invoiced yet).
- Retainage – total retention value across all contracts.
- Approved costs – total approved costs to date on all contracts.
- Free – contracted costs minus approved costs (amount still unpaid).
Tip: On payment applications, retainage, and approved costs, you may see a yellow figure. This indicates pending amounts — for example, a payment application or invoice received but not yet reviewed.
Below the top summary, you’ll find two tabs:
- Subcontracts – list of all active contracts
- Drafts – contracts created but not finalized
The subcontract list includes the following columns:
- Contract name
- Subcontractor name
- Date (creation date and last email sent)
- Contracted costs (total contract value)
- Prepayments (total prepayments made)
- Committed (approved claims/payment applications)
- Retainage (retention held)
- Approved costs (costs to date for the contract)
- Free (amount still unpaid)
From this view, you can also batch send valuation templates:
- Tick one or several checkboxes on the left of the contract rows.
- Click Send valuation templates via email.
- The selected subcontractors will receive the valuation templates.
